Toby Smith and Andre Wierzbicki, both australian bought the Finca Santa Teresa in 2012. They fell in love with the place. Since 2012, they expand this farm of 96 hectares. Plots stay isolated to conserve each micro terroir specificity in cup. This Geisha microlot comes from an isolated plot called “Zorro”

 Finca Santa Teresa is an high altitude coffee finca located in Panama, Santa Clara, Chiriqui Province, an area renowned for its unique and exceptional coffees. FST is blessed with rich black volcanic soil, a high altitude location and favourable weather patterns associated with both the Pacific and Atlantic Oceans; this results in coffees of singular quality. The finca is located along a series of beautiful valleys and ridges which create a variety of micro-climates and give individuality to each of our lots.

FST produces coffee from the Geisha, Caturra and Catuai varietals. The finca comprises a series of micro-lots, each of which produces a unique and individual coffee, reflective of its terroir. The coffee planting on FST is interspaced by live barriers, streams, and broad sections of virgin forest. Squirrel monkeys and many of the 600 species of birds in the area are often seen in and around the finca. Adjacent to the farm is the La Amistad International Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site jointly managed by Panama and neighbouring Costa Rica.
